Our mission is to provide artists with a platform to exhibit their works, emphasizing their talents both locally and on the global stage.

What kind of art does ALMASI ART AGENCY primarily focus on?

At ALMASI ART AGENCY, our primary focus lies in contemporary visual fine African art in all its forms, including paintings, sculptures, photos, mixed media, and more. Our eclectic collection showcases the diversity of creativity that emerges from the African continent.

Could you share some of your goals for the future?

Our goals are intertwined with our passion for the arts. We aim to continue offering artists the opportunity to shine through exhibitions in Diani with an aim to highlight their talent both locally and abroad.

Our artists hail from more than 20 different nationalities, reflecting the rich diversity of the African art community. While most of our artists come from East Africa, we also feature artists from other parts of the continent and several European countries.

The artistic styles exhibited at ALMASI ART AGENCY are as diverse as the artists themselves. Our collection showcases an eclectic range of styles as mentioned in the answer above. Each contributing to the rich tapestry of contemporary African art.

Could you tell us about some of the challenges your artists face?

Like any profession, artists encounter their own set of challenges. From financial constraints for materials to creative blocks and the need for studio space, our artists navigate a unique journey in their pursuit of creativity.

What are some of the standout pieces in your gallery?

Fred Abuga’s works have gained significant popularity and remain among our bestsellers. Additionally, many of our artists have participated in numerous exhibitions, contributing to their widespread recognition.

What are some of the recent acquisitions in your collection?

Our most recent acquisitions are from the African Tales exhibition, beautifully captured in our new catalogue. These works reflect the vibrant narratives that emerge from the African continent.

We are thrilled to announce two exhibitions scheduled for December. One will take place at our gallery, while the other will be hosted at Sands at Nomad, promising a visual feast for art enthusiasts and collectors.
