Boy staring right to illustrate a sight to behold.
Sometimes I see abstracted portraits of people, I see the eye, the nose, the mouth, and ears but then when I change positions… they vanish.

Sometimes I see beautiful portraits in the clouds and then they vanish… after the clouds have moved…

What I saw (Series of the boychild).

Sometimes I see abstracted portraits of the boy child, I see the eye, the nose, the mouth. I see these nature artworks through the lights and shadows, lines and shapes, of buildings, stones, and things around me. Artists understand what I see… Sometimes our surroundings, fingerprints, and footprints want to tell us about someone, who passed there, who stood there, who was stranded there.., who whispered something there, who cried there… but we don’t get it until it’s late.

Kamande James

A sight to behold. Often we ask artists what inspires them to create their art. Well, it depends on the artist. Inspiration is an interesting thing for artists and can be both extrinsic and intrinsic. They tend to notice the small details and enlarge them to be noticed by the rest of the world. They say artists are children that never grow old, Their need for creativity is kept and manifested through the curious eyes and imagination of a child. The outside world at times, the environment the artist lives or grows up in. In the end, having sight to behold lies between the artist. It is beautiful to realize that by looking at a painting, we are looking at things through the eyes of the artist. So what’s your inspiration?.
