Ritual.

This piece is part of a series named “in between the lines”. I choose this theme because it has a whole impact on humanity. The study stir in the boy’s eyes tells you he is absent insight but not in mind. Everyone has a gift and everyone who has grown in his or her gift knows what to do and when to before operating in the gift. As an artist and a basketball player, I like to do things I call “ritual”; like sitting quietly while playing the game in my head before going to play the actual game or playing music for some time before working on a piece of art. This “ritual” helps put the mind into a higher focal point for the execution of the gift. This makes you up who you are and knowing this as part of life, shows how you truly know yourself.
