Memory lane.
My memory walked along the pathway of old times and days gone by. I thought of many pleasant days and times when I had no care for despair, and the world always felt fun and fine, as if it were divine. I knew only what I was told. There was always the promise of tomorrow to behold. But then I grew older, the days became longer, and the childhood memories were all lost to the constraints of the environment. I lost the last of all my doldrums as I walked down memory lane. Those paths were bright and shiny, though they will never come again. Being happy was not as easy as when I was a child. The memory of friendship and a sane environment. Little did I know childhood would be better, now that my happy place is inside my own mind. A child of my little age gave me the best gift I could ever hope for.
