The stories of a culture.
We as Africans are caught up in between two societies, following our ways as a culture and adapting to modernity. You find value in what you learn from both sides but to a large extent, they contradict. So it becomes a sought of psychological war within you. It seems simple to most people but later on, it becomes really hard to know who you are if you can’t accept things that are a part of you(Cultures and Morales).

Each community has cultural values that it accepts and upholds. These are laws, regulations, rules, forms of behavior, customs, observances, and taboos. They form a code that in the end regulates the community. The community accepts moral values that are valuable in society. Each community decides what is important to it, and what is desirable for its members to uphold and practice. Currently, the lifestyle of many Africans does not seem to promote the cultures and traditions of Africa as a continent. For instance, these moral values are so Eurocentric that everything about Africa is being thrown backstage. For a better Africa, we need to be proud of ourselves for who we are and tightly hold on to that. In conclusion, we indeed belong to a global world, but remember first that we belong to Africa.
