Artist Statement.
When he works, he loves to express himself with acrylic, polymer, and sometimes oil colors. Osoba Omoayo is more of a stylized artist, so he loves to draw and paint portraitures and sometimes figurative compositions. His style of art requires him to restructure his subjects facially, laying obvious emphasis on their eyes and lips. Osoba Omoayo’s works are influenced by new faces, new environments, and strong facial expressions. His mind is his best workspace, where he tries to find silence, and solace and practically build up his images from a small start to finish, it helps to bring out many compositions at a go from their distorted form to a work of art fit for visualization. His major reasons center around him wanting to exhibit around the world. Omoayo also wants his works to globally stand as an icon of hope and a better future for this generation.
