DEAR DIARY.
It’s a new day, a day to carefully and happily unwrap like a gift. Inside, is a gift of time, and I will cherish every second of it and make every moment matter. I will not be fearful or worry about what tomorrow will bring because all I have in this gift box is a time that says, “NOW IS ALL I HAVE”, so instead I’ll reach out for all that makes me happy.
Before you know it, just like every other day.
The seconds become minutes, the minutes become hours, the hours become days, the day disappears into the night. And all I’ll have are memories, a place I can only visit in my dreams. Although this gift will be gone forever, I will learn from it and be a better me when I unwrap the gift of tomorrow.
