Baby sitter.
Growing up we were always looked after by our aunties, we never thought this was an actual job, that someone could get paid. In the local setting, it’s also the responsibility of the neighbor to take care of our children. When my mama left and my sister was not around, they would ask the neighbor to look after me. Unlike in the uptown where your child is your responsibility and even funny that the neighbor doesn’t know about the other neighbor. In this series, women on a high heel, I portray the hardship and problems suffered by common people, especially women. I use women as a symbol of hope and strength.
