To be truly happy we need to look into who we are and what makes us alive. In this painting he stares at something, is he happy? Scared? Or determined? I will go with determined. No matter how great the maze is around him, he focuses on the brighter part despite his struggles. By maze, I mean the details in the background, and by brighter part I mean, nature.
